Buying / Transferring a Silencer
If you purchase a silencer from us, there is no transfer fee. The $65 fee (increased 8/2026) is only charged when you’ve purchased a silencer elsewhere and need us to receive it and perform the paperwork / transfer.
EForms Account:
You will need to create an Eforms account in order to approve of the ATF Form 4 we submit to get your tax stamp (Approval to transfer the Silencer to you). You will get an Account Name, a Password, and a Pin Number. You will need the Account name and Pin Number to approve the form before we can submit it. The email address you use on the account is where you will receive your approval and a copy of the Tax Stamp from the ATF. Click here and select “Register”. There is no charge to register.
Fingerprints:
Two sets of prints are required for each Silencer/Suppressor you purchase, each and every time you purchase. If you buy 3 silencers, we have to mail off 6 sets of prints. We can take your ink prints in the store, or you can get your digital prints taken and use that on all of your forms forever. It’s a special file format called an EFT. You can get these done at:
PrintScan will ONLY email you the file. You can download it from there and put it on a thumb drive, store it on your phone or computer, store in the cloud, Etc. You can email it to us & we will keep it on file as well for future use. If you want it on a thumb drive but don’t have a computer, we can put the file on a drive for you if you bring one in.
Passport Photo:
We can take your photo here for use on the Form 4 OR If you already have a recent passport photo, you can bring it in or email it to us.
Trust:
A Trust is used so that other people can access your firearms and silencers without you needing to be present. This may be your spouse, offspring, friends, or whoever else you’d like to include in your trust. When you die, the items can stay in the trust and the others still have access without needing to transfer them. You can include any other firearm you may own as well, not just NFA items. If you need a Trust, you may seek a lawyer, or use National Gun Trusts for a quicker / cheaper option.
If you are putting the Silencer in the name of a Trust instead of you as the individual, you’ll need to fill out this form as well: Form 5320.23 If you’re adding someone to your Trust, they will need to fill this out and be fingerprinted & photographed as well.
